Catching Up, part 2

Belly getting bigger. This is 11 days before Ceres arrival.






















Yannie had a soccer tournament the weekend before Ceres birth. After seeing these photos I realized why people kept stopping me to ask about the baby.












































Beth and Shine came out to be in town for the birth. Since we were just waiting, we decided to head out one day to the sand dunes in Indiana. They were nice enough to dig me a hole in the sand so I could lay on my stomach for the first time in months.

Chicago Fire

After the soccer tournament, all the teams had the opportunity to attend a Chicago Fire soccer game. They played the New York Red Bulls and Chicago won 1-0. No game photos, but here are a few shots of the two of us in the newly built Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Greek Soccer Tournament

On Labor Day Weekend, Yannie's father came out to visit and joined us at the Greek Soccer Tournament. We spent most of the weekend at the park and all got a little sunburnt. Liza did some photography for the tournament. Here's one of the favorite shots of Yannie. He looks like a giant!

Labor Day Weekend - Tiling & Soccer

Over Labor Day weekend, Yannie Sr. came to visit. He helped us put up our tile backsplash and kick guard in the kitchen/dining area. We chose a yellow onyx to go with the granite countertops.


After all the hard work, we went to Katerina's restaurant to have some Greek food and hear the live Greek band that plays the first Friday of each month.

The rest of the weekend was the Greek Soccer tournament put on by GreekSoccer.com
Yannie played for two teams, so he was busy for most of the weekend. Liza did some photography for the tournament. Yannie Sr. relaxed in the sun, watched some soccer, and was Liza's photo assistant.
